At the Miami University School of Medicine a study of 13 adolescents with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder was conducted. After participating in tai chi classes twice a week for five weeks, the teenagers improved by a having less anxiety, daydreaming, inappropriate emotions and hyperactivity, and better conduct.
